Why am I unable to browse for more apps?

Dear Friends.
Please help me, I am new to Splunk.
I cannot browse for More Apps.
when i click on "Find more Apps" it says

Browse More Apps
 Error resolving: Name or service not known]

can any one please help me on what's the reason for this Error?

I had the same issue, for me I was using a vpn which splunk oculd not reach the right host, if oyu are using a vpn as well just disconnect from it and try again. Hope it will help someone!

You may want to check if you can resolve well-known hostnames on your server you are hosting your Splunk instance.

For instance, "nslookup splunk.com"

You may want to check if your /etc/resolv.conf file is correct.,

Could you double-check if your computer is connected to the Internet? Seems your Splunk instance encountered error connecting to the server.

As an alternative, you can go to splunkbase.splunk.com and browse Splunk apps there. Download the apps you want to install from SplunkBase and in Splunk Web, install directly from the app files.
