How to secure Splunk Web with your own certificate on Splunk Cloud?

Hi,

With Splunk Enterprise it's possible to secure Splunk Web with your own certificate by copying your server certificate to /auth/splunkweb and doing some configuration in system/local/web.conf. With Splunk Cloud, I don't have access to the CLI and therefore cannot secure Splunk Web with a certificate in this way. Is there any way around this? Or do I have to send a support ticket as a change request to Splunk to get this done?

Thanks!

You will need to open up a ticket with Splunk support to get this done. Segmentation for compliance, security, reliability, etc. requires restricted access to the CLI. Splunk Cloud will become more and more user/GUI friendly as we progress through each version iteration over time, requiring more self service and reducing the need to leverage Splunk support for certain actions.
