The UI source is under .../share/splunk/search_mrsparkle/ if you want to hack it out. I don't think there's an option to disable it.

Okay folks, I just got contact with the Support.
- They opened an enhancement request to disable the first time loggin hint by configuration
- The hint should really disappear after the first login. For me this didn't work, so I requested to analyze this if there might be a bug.
- The only way to disable it, is to follow the instruction from parallaxed

Running 4.2.1 this can be enabled by removing any expired licenses via the Manager. Worked a treat.
