Changing App Permissions to specified role via GUI needs a restart ??

I have added my defined rolesto have a read access to search app , and can see those changes updated in local.meta file of search app. but they are seem to be working ?? any specific reason ?? do i need to restart splunk ?? pls help me ??

Okay, so check if the user role still inheriting any other role which has search app access.

Thanks linu1988, I tried refreshing but it didnt work for me ? by the way i changed settings to disable the view of search app to my user defined role , but it didnt work. where has settings has been written in local.meta file.. 😞
