Adjusting Session Time Splunk Web Sessions

Hey Guys,

Got another one for you:

Is there anyway to adjust max authenticated session time in Splunk Web?
Seems like sessions die to quickly and we are forced to re-authenticate.

Just curious if there is a max session time that can be defined in web.conf for example.

Let me know.

Thanks.

Brian

Default is 60 minutes, but you can adjust the timeout in Manager. You can also edit server.conf (for splunkd) and web.conf (for splunkweb) if you want different timeout values for each.
