Is the list of Private reports and Dashboards visible to everyone?

I see that everytime I make a report which is essentially part of a dashboard it shows up in the reports page. All the reports are private. I don't want to take up so much space on the report page so my question is does everyone see the private reports listed. Also are private dashboards visible? Thank you

Private : Only you have permission to view and edit the dashboard. The dashboard is not visible to other users.

private reports will be seen to the only user who has created it and others can not see it (except admin)
as it is stored in $Splunk_HOME\etc\users directory

By default, Splunk admins will also have the ability to see private reports and dashboards.
