Hi.. If the search is alredy ran then it will not run it again when you click "open in search". If the search is in running state in the dashboard and you click "open in search" then it still continues the run.

Hi,
for dashboards it works that way. But when I want to edit a report in the "Reports" tab, it always starts the job automatically.

if you want to edit the search then go to Settings -> Searches, reports and alerts option. then modify your search

Thanks, that's a good point! But I would still prefer disabling the function in the reports tab, it's much more comfortable.
