How splunk renders splunkweb? How can I modify default auto values in some of the UI forms?

What is the front end technology being used by splunk to render web pages and forms?

I want to modify the default value applied by alert expiration field in new alert creation form. By default it’s 24 hours. Is there a way in configs or some XML files which can be modified to change this to 7 days?

I also want the default privacy selection to be shared in app instead of private.
