Error in getting validation mail
Hi ,
One of my colleagues is not able to get the Verification Link to the Inbox after creating an account. So unable to post the questions in Splunk Answers. It always remains in Pending status asking for e-mail verification.
Please advise.
I'm unable to edit the question under "Joining the community" Hence posting it as a new question.

Make sure to check your spam/junk folder. Additionally, the email will be sent from splunkbase AT splunk.com, so try adding that to the approved senders list.

No I couldn't find that in spam/junk folder.

And this is old, but what can we do if we can't post? Continues to say need to validate email and I know I did that. But now since time has passed the page is a 404.. There should be a way to fire off a new verification email but I can't find it.

I just had the same issue but found the fix 😄
When you're logged in, click on your username in top right corner (to basically view the summary of your account).
Next, again, look to the top right and you'll have the "Preferences" button.
Go into Preferences and there will be this link to resend validation email. If you get a "bad request" error as I did then you can click on "click here to sync". That worked for me.

"click here to sync" does not work for me 😞
I cant sync email even if I change it in splunk.com
