Hey thanks! We are trying to get everyone pointing to the Splunk Folding@Home Research Labs team now.
If you're reading this and haven't switched, please move to this folding at home group instead: https://stats.foldingathome.org/team/238889
I joined up, too. We've gone from a rank of 4,867 out of 249,225 to 4,277 out of 249,627 in just a few days.
Top 5000 team rank \o/
Yeah, we're doing well - my colleague (minisplunk) managed to turn on a lot of the machines in our workplace (as we are all self-isolating) and set them going which has helped loads. We moved up from 8###th to 5###th over the last week. I've reached out to Splunk peeps on Twitter to try and spread the word to get more people in the Splunk Community team, but haven't heard anything yet or seen many new users. Keep up the good work everyone!! Lets beat this virus so I can go mountain biking again!! 🙂
In the end it really doesn't matter, which team I give my points - it's all for supporting the corona studies, but...
You are talking about two different teams here:
a) Team: Splunk Folding@Home Research Labs (also referred to as "Buttercup Research Labs Team #: 238889) Link
b) Team: Splunk Community Link
Which one is "the one"?
Splunk Folding@Home Research Labs is the one that everyone has been migrating to. It's the combination of both internal Splunk folks and the community effort.
For checking team rank, Martin found a method thats much faster than the stats page on folding at homes website.
You can use the link below, and replace the user=jkat54 with your folding at home user (once you've joined our team) to see your stats and our team's stats quickly.

Great - thanks! 🙂 currently as at midday Wed 8 Apr - team_rank": 4968
Joined your team! (spicywiener and spicywiener2) seen a lot of activity over last 24 hrs. Happy to be helping out. 🙂
Thanks Rob! Funny that you see activity because the last updates I see for our team say our last WU was delivered 3/27. I'm steadily pumping them out though so I guess there's a cache issue on my end
I found that by downloading the list, you can see the daily activity:

Look for our team number (238889), they're ordered by ranking.
