Dashboard always shows "Waiting for data..."

I have a dashboard panel backed by a report. When ever I click to see the report, it show's the report ran and displays the results if there are any. The dashboard panel of the other hand is always stuck on "Waiting for data..." If i hit the stop button the panel and refresh it, it updates immediately. The report run every hours and dose not have any issues.
