I noticed that everytime splunk writes the search.log files in C:/Program Files/Splunk/var/run/splunk/dispatch/.., Process Monitor says that it is written with a BUFFER OVERFLOW. Is this something I need to be concerned with?

It appears to be a normal occurrence.
