is it possible to check Collection Interval is always greater than a specific time for a modular input.

Hi,

Is there a way to enforce "collection interval" on an addon to be greater than 5 mins. As i don't want users to set the collection interval as 1sec and overload the server.

You can set it to whatever you like and then make sure that "normal" users have roles which do not have permissions that allow them to change this.

hello there,
maybe use the rest input endpoint and search for shorter intervals and save as alert?
| rest /services/data/inputs/all | search interval < 300

there is probably a more accurate endpoint for modular inputs.
p.s. why do users can edit inputs?
