Can you call a workflow action in Splunk (or call a WF action on multiple events)

I created a workflow action to perform a reverse IP lookup using the link method GET.  

I would like to perform this action on multiple events.  

• Is there a way to call this action on specific events within the search (not using the GUI)?
• Is there a way to call this action on multiple events (with or without the GUI?)
