can wincollect(IBM) and splunk be on same machine?

Hi ,

I have installed splunk on a server and where wincollect was already installed ,and CPU utilization was high.Please suggest me that can wincollect(IBM) and splunk be both on same machine.

Try and see what is causing the CPU to spike?
check how much CPU the Splunk Universal Forwarder service / process consumes and how much the wincollect(IBM)
now stop the Universal Forwarder and check the delta
check if it fits your CPU performance criteria.hope it helps
