Why is the deployment server not available in Splunk Enterprise Trial license?

I installed Splunk enterprise trial license and it looks like the deployment server has been disabled. It is asking for a license information. This wasn't the case in past downloads. Does anyone know if something changed? if so how can I get a trial license with forwarder capability?

are you sure, you are not on the free license?
Trail license will have the deployment server enabled, see the docs about it http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Admin/TypesofSplunklicenses
