Installation

Why is my Universal Forwarder not Showing the correct upgrade version?

I just ran the installation for the upgrade from 7.1.0 to 7.1.1 on RHEL 6.9. However, after the installation I did a version check and it says that I have version 7.1.0 installed. I tried to reinstall the 7.1.1 and it flagged saying that this version is already installed. Has anyone seen this and can recommend a fix?

Thanks

It's interesting to see what the REST API says about the version, via https://<host name>:8089.

Cannot access my forwarders this way, as splunk web was turned off by Splunk PS for security reasons.

Hi @dharveynswccd,

Are these installed in same path? Is the splunk home and path set to right version?
