What are the upcoming features in the 6.3.4 release and is there any major impact to expect when upgrading from 6.2.6?

We are planning to upgrade from current 6.2.6 to 6.3.4 in this month.
We currently have a distributed setup with about 1TB of incoming data daily from various sources.
We have fairly complex queries running to monitor and report search data.

Where can I get information about the upcoming release and what challenges I can forsee in the upgrade?
Any major impact to expect? will I need to change my setup? or configurations?

Please help

6.3.4 is a maintenance release of 6.3. As such, it will only contain bug fixes for the 6.3 product.

Note that 6.3.4 is not released yet. 6.3.3 is the current Splunk Enterprise release.

Your question is really: what are the new features in Splunk Enterprise 6.3, and what is the impact of an upgrade from 6.2?

New features are covered in Welcome to Splunk Enterprise 6.3 in the Release Notes.

Upgrade information is in About upgrading to 6.3 - READ THIS FIRST in the Installation Manual.

The specific bug fixes in 6.3.4 will be covered in the Release Notes in a topic like this one: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.3.3/ReleaseNotes/6.3.3.

When 6.3.4 is released, you will find the fixed problems list at: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/6.3.4/ReleaseNotes/6.3.4.

Chris,
Thanks for pointing out, I did have look at these documentation earlier, however I had posted the query to find out if anyone has faced any kind of issues and if so what is the solution.
I would anticipate few hurdles at least !!!

I hoping for a few fixes as well as I need to upgrade from 6.2.7 to 6.3.4 on my cluster to fix DMC issues.
