Users of Splunk can exceed the daily indexing amount: does it apply to free accounts?

on this page http://www.splunk.com/view/pricing/SP-CAAADFV , we see that:
Users of Splunk Enterprise can currently exceed the daily indexing amount specified in their license up to five times per month

does this condition apply to the free license (500MB daily) too?

You can exceed the 500MB limit 3 times in a rolling 30 day window.
