Splunk fundamentals 1 with free license

Hi,

After finishing the Splunk fundamentals 1 course, I haven't taken the exam right away. I wanted to take to finish it this week but i noticed that my free enterprise trial has expired. Is it possible to finish the exam with the Free edition of Splunk?

You don't need Splunk running to complete the exam anyway, right? The exam is just an online multiple choice test. You only need the splunk instance to do the labs during the training itself.

Yes, only some enterprise features are disabled with the free license such as secure login and distributed search. If you wanted full enterprise features, you could simply reinstall or get a DevTest license
