Hi, Thanks for the link. However, the link was for upgrading. I'm doing a clean install/first time install.
What Splunk version are you trying to install and are you using an English or non-English version of Windows? The issue discussed in the post found that it wasn't just an upgrade issue, but for fresh installs as well. The problem was related to both Windows fresh installations and upgrades for non-English OS's and should have been fixed in Splunk 6.2.1.
