New Splunk install -- why am I getting an error saying that my license has expired?

I've just created an account and I've installed the free version of Splunk Enterprise. However, when I try to logged in, I get an error saying that my license has expired. How it can be possible ? I mean, I've just created my account. What I'm doing wrong ? thanks a lot. I just want a free version of Splunk to try it.

Hi,
How long did you installed your Splunk?
If more t'han 60 days your license is expired and must be converted in free license.

Did you exceeded 500MB more t'han 3 times?
Your license is blocked.

Did you installed this license on Windows over on old Splunk installation?

Anyway, if you use Linux, save $SPLUNK_HOME/etc folder, remove installation, reinstall Splunk and copy the saved folder.
If you use Windows, use Linux! 😉

Bye.
Giuseppe
