New 4.2.2 install - is the manual wrong?

new install of 4.2.2 on linux.

To add a new remote event log, the online documents say:

Configure remote event log monitoring

  1. Click Manager in the upper right-hand corner of Splunk Web.

  2. Under Data, click Data Inputs.

  3. Click Remote event log collections.

Well, when I go to Manager, data - data inputs, I only see Files and Dir, TCP, UDP, or Scripts.

Is the manual wrong, or am I in the wrong spot?

All windows specific inputs (like remote eventlogs) are only available on a Splunk instance on Windows box.
