Migrating to Splunk 8.1 from Splunk 7.3 / LDAP issue / 8.1.4 release

Hello guys,

heard about excessive LDAP issue in Splunk 8.1, could you confirm? Is it impacting Microsoft Active Directory? Should be fixed in 8.1.4 however no date yet for the release.
