Issue getting "Unknown host" in creating new connection using Progress Data Direct jdbc driver for SQL Server.

Trying to configure a sql server jdbc driver for splunk, configured DataDirect SQL Server JDBC in Splunk DB Connect successfully.
But unable to connect to SQL SErver.

@manalid668, are you able to resolve the hostname from the server where DBConnect is installed?

Try a ping or nslookup yourhostname from the server. If the server is not able to resolve, then add the hostname/ip

Thanks.. Resolved by adding hostname in db_connection_types.conf entry.
