Any tips when upgrading Splunk license usage from 30GB to 60GB?

We are currently running on a Splunk licenses of 30Gb. We are going to purchase an additional 30 GB of license.

Please suggest some steps to deliver a smooth upgrade.

Hi @Venkat_16,

If you are already using an enterprise license, then just add the new license file to the license master as described below. Only in case of first enteprise installation, you need a restart of license master.

If you want to put an additional license you can directly put it in. It will just add up to your existing license it is as simple as that.
