How to monitor Solaris using Splunk?

Hi!

I am trying to monitor CPU, memory and Disk data from Solaris servers using Splunk.

Until now all my attempts were unsuccessful. I have tested many apps and add-on of splunkbase and none of them work for Solaris. Please, does anyone have any idea what I can do?

Thank you in advance

Does the solaris server have the Splunk forwarder installed?

https://www.splunk.com/en_us/download/universal-forwarder.html#tabs/solaris

You could write a crontab to run a script on whatever interval that puts the info in a file you monitor via the UF and send to Splunk indexer/s.
