how monitor amazone EC2 linux with splunk ?

I have a instance amazone EC2 LINUX in my account amazone AWS.
my probleme is :
i want monitor my amazone EC2 instance (performance monitor, syslog and active directory monitoring ) as on plunk.
please somebody know anything about amazone EC2 monitor with splunk ?

The Splunk Universal Forwarder can be used to monitor the EC2 instance running Linux. Here are the instructions on how to install the Splunk Universal Forwarder on *nix systems that will include Linux instances running on EC2.

You should be able to install the agent on the EC2 instance. Everything else is same as if you would it On Prem.. Open up firewall ports to DS and Indexers.
