Will splunk provide pivot REST api to use in the apps?

Hello,

With reference to my previous question, (https://answers.splunk.com/answers/660382/how-to-customize-the-pivot-ui.html)
I wanted to have a pivot editor in my app with custom UI. Since I can't modify the UI of pivot editor provided by splunk,
I wanted to create a custom UI which should interact with pivot REST apis.

Will this be possible? If yes, Please guide me.
