Why am I unable to see sourcetype under Data Settings in Splunk Web?

Hi Guys,

This maybe a silly question to ask here..

I downloaded the free version of Splunk here and just want to configure some settings in my testing environment, however, I can't seem view the sourcetype under the Data Settings.

Which version of splunk you are using?

I could see sourcetypes in 6.3 but not in 6.2

I was using 6.2.3, you reckon that would be the case ? i will try to download the latest and see

upgrade to 6.3 and option shows up .. thanks for you help there
