Configured device to use HEC. The logs are being ingested now into Splunk, but receiving warning after running Ansible playbooks and pointing to HTTP Event Collector? Has any one else seen this warning?

[WARNING]: Failure using method (v2_runner_on_ok) in callback plugin (): Connection to proxy failed

Your data is not dropping that's good.

whats your splunk version ? are you using splunk default cert for ssl?
should be ssl warning / ansible callback 3rd pary callback plugin.

Try to use the curl REST to post the data and see the error. If no issues then have to check the callback plugin.
