Getting Data In

Save configuration in dedicated input.conf in version 8.0

Hi,

I've installed Splunk 8.0 to check my Python modular inputs with Python 3.7 and, with this version, the configurations are not stored in input.conf file in my app folder, but in "launcher" or "search"

When I created them with previous versions, I could do it inserting the following code in an XML file in data/ui/manager.
However this configuration seems not been working anymore

<element name="__ns" type="select" label="My App">
            <view name="create"/>
                <key name="hideUnlessFieldSet">hideme</key>
                <options>
                <opt value="my-app" label="my-app"/>
            </options>
        </element>

Is there a new way to obtain the same behavior in Splunk 8.0?
