Is it possible to overwrite an input CSV file with a file of the same name?

hi guys!

i have uploaded a CSV file. and now i want to upload a file with the same name but instead of appending the data, i want to overwrite it (delete older info and replace it with new data).

is this possible?

Go to physical server and replace the file.

do you know where the files are stored. i'm new at splunk and i cant find them.
