Getting Data In

How to collect the requests and responses exchanged between website and webserver in Splunk Light?

HI team,

I am very new to Splunk and I have already installed Splunk Light on my machine. I would like to see the web requests exchanging between my machine and server. I have understood the basic navigation and search in Search and Reporting, but is there any document that provides me how to connect to a server and fetch the requests and responses from it? Please provide the link or mention briefly here.

What are the elements to be selected from "Add Data" tab for this?

Hi ukrishnakanth, start with the Splunk Light documentation to see if it answers your questions. The "Getting data in" chapter of the Getting Started Guide is a good place to start. http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/SplunkLight/6.3.3/GettingStarted/Aboutaddingdata
