Getting Data In

Can I delete files after they are indexed?

Hi,

I'm currently forwarding files from my forwarder to the Indexer. For the purpose of housekeeping, can I safely delete old files on the forwarder after they're indexed, without affecting the indexed data? These files would still be in the directory that is being monitored by the forwarder.

Thank you.
