What might have caused "WARN ConfReplicationHandler - Configuration from app=nameofapllication does not support reload: server.conf/[shclustering]/scheduling_heuristic"

Hi,

We are running Splunk Enterprise version 7.0.4 on our search head cluster.
We have 4 search heads on the cluster.

Recently we have noticed that we started to get the following errors on all search heads when running "splunk apply shcluster-bundle" command to push changes of certain application "nameofapplication" to our search head cluster:

"WARN  ConfReplicationHandler - Configuration from app=nameofapllication  does not support reload: server.conf/[shclustering]/scheduling_heuristic"

Any ideas/suggestions will be appreciated.

hello there,

is the app you are trying to reload app=nameofapllication is a native app to splunk? a TA from splunkbase? an app you created?
try to remove that app from your deployer .../etc/shcluter/apps and then deploy, verify the error disappeared.
if indeed error disappeared, inspect the app
