What is the Splunk version compatibility of the License Master with other components?

What is the version compatibility of the license master with other components?
I couldn't find any documents.
Can anyone help me with this?

Hello, always upgraded slaves (test env for instance) and license master / manager after as in production, never had any issue.

@earakam A license master must always be of equal or later version than its license slaves.
