Using splunkforwarder 7.1.2 with Indexer version 6.5.1

Hello, I am trying to upgrade our splunkforwarders to the most recent version available, but am running into problems fixing the SSL configuration to be compatible. Could you point me to the exact issue that describes the necessary chagnes?
