SH has a greater version than Cluster Master in Splunk Cloud

Hi all,

I have a quick question, we have enabled hybrid search feature in an on prem SH. We didn´t know anything about versioning on Splunk cloud, and now we can see the following message on the on prem SH:

  • The cluster master must be at the same or a higher version than the search head. The version in search head is 8.1.3. https://mysplunkcloud:8089 has version 8.0.2006.

What issues could we experience by having a Search Head in a major version (8.1.3) than a Cluster Master (8.0.2006)? Many thanks in advance.
