How to set up NonClustered Distributed search in splunk ????

I tried Distributed search in clustered environment, it's working fine

But i couldnt get good documenatation for Nonclustered distibuted search

Please share your ideas

There is some fairly comprehensive documentation of setting up non-clustered distributed search here: http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/latest/Deploy/Whatisdistributedsearch
