How to install Splunk on Linux and then Configure with Oracle ERP R12 ?

Hello Team,

Could you please let us know steps to install Splunk on Linux server and then How to install Splunk on Linux and then to configure with Oracle ERP R12 ?

After configuration we need to create dashboard for oracle database and application monitoring.

Also could you please let us know like which skill set is required to implement this task ??

Getting below error while installing DB Connect "DBX".
Could you please help on this ?

Add On Installation Failed
Unexpected error downloading update: error:14090086:SSL routines:ssl3_get_server_certificate:certificate verify failed - please check the output of the openssl verify command for the certificates involved; note that if certificate verification is enabled (requireClientCert or sslVerifyServerCert set to "true"), the CA certificate and the server certificate should not have the same Common Name.
