How to deploy a new configuration in inputs.conf file for a specific server from the deployment server?

I want to deploy a new configuration in inputs.conf file for a specific server from the deployment server.

Can anyone suggest some detailed steps?

You can find all the informations you need.

In few words you have to:

• configure your client as client of the Deployment Server,
• on DS, by CLI create an App to deploy containing your inputs.conf,
• on DS by UI create a serverclass containing the server to manage and the app to deploy,
• remember to flag the option restart Forwarder on the App otherwise your upgrade doesn't run!
• wait for the next upgrade or force it by CLI.
