How to customize the installation folder of Splunk Universal Forwarder in Linux and HPUX servers?

I want to install splunk universal forwarder in different paths accordingly to the filesystem space. For example:
server A: /opt/splunk
server B: /opt/application/splunk
server C: /usr/opt/splunk

Don't use the packages, use the tarballs. After you decompress, change the directory name before you start for the first time.
