root_endpoint not honored in dynamic drilldown

Hi

It seems that Splunk 5 dynamic drilldown does not handle the root_endpoint correctly. Dynamic drilldown only works if I explicitly hardcode the root_endpoint in the link tag

i.e.:

<![CDATA[
/my-endpoint/app/my-app/dashboard?form.action=$click.value2$]]>

This is a problem if I'd like to share the App on Splunkbase. Any suggestions to work around this problem?

To create a link within the same app and view context, it is possible to work around this problem using a relative path:

<![CDATA[
?form.action=$click.value2$
]]>

oops, the content within the link tag was stripped.. here is the correct relative path:

use
?form.action=$click.value2

instead of
/my-endpoint/app/my-app/dashboard?form.action=$click.value2$
