<link target="_blank" >http://google.com/search.html?q=$dbinit$</link>
</drilldown>
So I am trying to figure out if it is possible to open the link in a new tab. Do i have to use JS?
What is your browser? In Chrome, target="_blank" works fine.
I have read on some post that people may also use target="new".
Hope this helps
Use the ![CDATA[ ... ]] wrapper to make sure that the & symbol is interpreted correctly.
and below is the link for related documentation!

I am using 3 different browsers on 3 different monitors atm. Looks like its dependent on both the query and the browser should have the open-in-new-tab option enabled too. In Firefox, I had the target="_blank" which would open on another window. But enabling "open in new tab" and ctrl+clicking solved the problem in firefox and in case of other browser , opening in window is fine as well. Thanks for the help @poete.
Hello,
What is the pb? The new tab is not open or the google page is not displayed?
To me, the url should be : https://www.google.com/search?&q=$dbinit$
I was trying to figure out if there is anyway to explicitly make the open the url into a new tab rather than a new window.
