Pass parameters to dashboard/form

I am curious if there is a way to pass parameters to a dashboard. For example I have a Dashboard1 which has some table panels. If I click on the result entires it should pass those entries as a parameter to Dashboard2 and open it .Usually clicking on the entries results in the flashtimeline with the search query of the panel and the selected entry as filter. Please let me know if there is a work around to achieve this.

Probably not the exact way you are thinking of, but you should look at the drilldown examples in the ui_examples application.
