Hi,

I have created dashboard in splunk 6.4. whenever i opened the dashboard it is taking too much time to display the result, Is it possible to schedule a dashboard to run panel searches at 12:00AM, so every time someone opens the dashboard, they display cached results?

Thanks a lot.

Yes, just schedule the search and use loadjob in your dashboard to pull in the results of the last scheduled run like this:

|loadjob savedsearch="<owner>:<app>:<name of search>"

This has nothing to do with the original question so it would be best to close this one out (click Answer if it worked for you) and ask a new one. Also, you have not told us anything about these tables. We need to see the searches that generate them.

You could convert your inline searches on your dashboard panels as accelerated report searches and scheduled those reports to run at whatever frequency
