Hi,

i want to hide some tabs in an app of splunk for specific users.
My idea was to change the XML-Code, so that i set the tabs invisible. But how i can combine the invisible command with some rolls/user permissions?

Thank you very much!

Hi @cesarb,

1) Create a search which checks role of logged in user. ( You can handle using javascript)
2) Set the token "my_token" on the basis of above search.
3) Use token "my_token" on the depends property in particular panel.

Let me know if any help required.

Thanks
