How do you change the color in a dashboard panel with Javascript added as inline in XML?

I have a javascript for changing the color in a dashboard panel. I want to add it as an inline in XML.

If possible, pls guide me.

i can have it appserver, but it follows lots of procedure with Splunk administrator.
