On the Global map , i see bubbles on the map for different values. but these bubbles are of different sizes.
What is the reason for this ?
and is it possible to maintain same size bubbles for all on the map ?
John.
i got the answer for this by my own investigation, the size depends on the corresponding values . so i was able to modify the min and max size close together on the map GUI ( on the panel, ie the TILE option ). Keeping min and max with 1 number apart makes them have same size bubbles..
@jiaqya you can check out Location Tracker Custom Visualization Or Clustered Single Value Map Visualization from Splunkbase
These visualizations will plot the required point on Map as Pins hence will be of same size.
Hi Niket, appreciate your response, my management wanted to see either the round bubble or the pie chart.
Pie chart would not give me actionable view, but the bubbles with colors lets me pass the message that there is a problem going on in a particular site.
but i will keep these links in mind next time if i need them,, thanks..
Sure, I can understand, as far as you have a working solution it is great. I just wanted to document the approach as per your question is it possible to maintain same size bubbles for all on the map
